Agile is a process that is was popularized in IT project management. Using agile means that we take a typical project and break them down into smaller pieces which we can iterate through. Through these iterations, we constantly test and validate, to ensure that the work we are doing is on track to meet and exceed expectations.
As everyone knows, a lot can change from the start of a project to the time it is actually completed. Without frequent checkpoints to get feedback and validate, we have found that a large portion of the work that is completed is often unnecessary or has veered off course from what is needed at present. Our use of agile and SCRUM helps to minimize this wasted effort. We have found that this helps to deliver projects quicker with less errors and for a lower overall cost.
